So I am officially free from the candle store. It's a long and ridiculous story but I'll be a lady and not divulge it all over the internet. I start at my new place next Tuesday. I really hope it works out. So now I have a week off, besides the internship, until we go camping this weekend. Yay.
The internship is over this Wednesday. I've enjoyed the experience and the direction my supervisor has given me. I'm a little disappointed that I wasn't offered a permanent position. On the other hand, I don't think I would be happy working there. There's too many things that need to be addressed and I hate seeing my supervisor being taken advantage of. Luckily she's on an interview today and hopefully wont have to stay there for much longer. Then it will be awesome to see the owner become frantic.
I'm working on a small version of my cake commission. I want to make sure all the flavors work out and the crab comes out looking like a crab. Haha. So far so good. I made the cake last night and froze it for today. I spent the afternoon making the chocolate buttercream and chocolate mousse. Right now they're in the fridge setting up. Soon I can put them all together and see how it tastes. Maybe I'll take some pictures and put them up.
